Staff

The Trust employs twelve full-time professionals. Bios are provided for the four members of the investment team:

David D. Gonino, Chief Investment Officer

David Gonino is the Chief Investment Officer of the Alfred I. duPont Trust and is responsible for the oversight of the Trust's investment portfolio. Prior to joining the duPont Trust in 2000, Mr. Gonino was the Treasurer of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he had responsibility for the management of Rensselaer's various investment portfolios. In addition, Mr. Gonino was responsible for Rensselaer's capital finance activities and banking relationships.

Mr. Gonino received his bachelor's degree in Finance from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Michael E. Beblo, Director of Alternative Investments

Michael Beblo leads the Trust's private equity team. Before joining the Trust's investment team in 2003, Michael worked at Perennial Ventures LLC, a venture capital firm in Seattle (formerly known as Tredegar Investments), and was responsible for portfolio analytics, financial reporting and planning, investment due diligence, term sheet review, and the coordination and management of venture capital deal closings.

Prior to joining Perennial Ventures, Mr. Beblo was the Chief Financial Officer for Access Technology Partners, L.P., a late-stage venture capital fund managed by Chase H & Q in San Francisco. From 1996 to 1998, he was the Manager of Alternative Investments at the California Institute of Technology.

Mr. Beblo received an MBA in Finance and Investments from Santa Clara University, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from SUNY at Stony Brook. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Carlos E. Herrero, Investment Analyst

Carlos Herrero joined the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust in 2006 as Investment Analyst. His primary responsibilities include providing analytical support for investment and strategy decisions related to the Public Market, Private Equity and Real Assets investment programs.

Prior to joining the Trust, Mr. Herrero worked as a Portfolio Manager in the Capital Management division of Wachovia Bank in Jacksonville. His primary responsibilities involved the management of fixed income portfolios for insurance company clients.

Mr. Herrero received an M.S. in Finance and B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Kara P. Riley, Director of Investment Operations

Kara Riley joined the Alfred I. duPont Testamentary Trust in 2005 as the Director of Investment Operations. Her primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day investment operations of the Trust including reporting, custody relations, risk management and compliance.

Prior to joining the Trust, Ms. Riley worked as a Fund Services Analyst in the Investment Operations Department of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Her key responsibilities at HHMI included managing daily cash movements, transfers, trading activity and vendor relationships for the $14 billion dollar endowment. Before this, Ms. Riley worked for the Calvert Group, a socially responsible mutual fund company, in Bethesda, Maryland. Her primary responsibilities included assisting broker/dealers with fund information and providing alternatives and recommendations with respect to investment industry topics and products.

Ms. Riley received a B.A. in Financial Management from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
